CDB Design is an up and coming design and inspiration business aimed at sharing our passion for making the creative dreams and visions of our customers a reality. It is this drive that makes everything we do a true privilege.
Established by Chantel de Bruyn (nee Marais) in 2014, CDB Design aims to make the design and creative journeys of our customers a stimulating, stress-free, and enjoyable one – from conceptualization to final product delivery. We pride ourselves on producing excellent quality products – products that are flawlessly crafted and beautiful in every way.
CDB Design provides unique styling services ranging from printed products (stationery, invites, custom gift bags to name but a few) to ready to wear fashionable items, general styling services and more.
Owner, Chantel de Bruyn, graduated with Distinctions in Fashion Design through the well-renowned Cape Town College of Fashion Design in 2010. Thereafter, she established herself in a large Fashion Apparel Corporation in the capacity of Senior Fashion Designer. As part of her role, Chantel was designing for well-known, larger fashion retailers and rapidly expanded her creative portfolio and range which made its way to store.
Years later, Chantel continues to design and inspire, now focusing on her own portfolio of private clients, and making their creative visions and concepts come to fruition.
With a keen eye for aesthetic design and beauty, Chantel also dabbles in the creative world of photography, capturing moments and stylistic beauty of her own designs through the lens of a camera.
With her understanding an application of design, proportion, and positioning, she is able to creative timeless masterpieces. It is with this keen eye that Chantel aims to bring about her own ready-to-wear collection in the coming months.
